Membership Drive

Once again, it is that time of year when dues for membership in the Coleto Creek Amateur Radio Club are due. As a non-ham, there are two ways that you can support the CCARC, by making a one time donation in the amount of your choice or by joining the club as a non-voting member for a yearly fee of $5.00. The advantage of joining the club, even as a non-voting member, is the opportunity to participate in club events and the club's help in obtaining a license if you wish to do so. A one-time donation in the amount of your choice will help the club perform necessary upkeep on our emergency communications trailer, complete construction on our portable antenna trailer and keep our radios and repeater current and working properly.

For licensed hams, the individual membership is $15.00 per year and a family membership is $20.00 per year and covers all members of an immediate family. A member must be a licensed amateur radio operator in order to have voting rights.

If you wish to support our club and are not able to attend our meetings, you may send your membership fee or one time donation to: Coleto Creek Amateur Radio Club, 732 FM 884, Yorktown TX 78164.

The Coleto Creek Amateur Radio Club meetings are open to the public, starting at 6:30 pm with good fellowship with friendly and knowledgeable people. The fellowship continues with a covered dish dinner at 7:00 pm. The business meeting starts at 7:30 pm and the public is welcome to attend and give their input, whether they are paid members or not. Our meetings currently take place at the First United Methodist Church, located at 222 N Reidel in Yorktown TX. Everyone is welcome to bring their favorite dish to contribute to the meal and your favorite beverage and enjoy the company of a group of great people with a sincere wish to help our communities be prepared to communicate with the outside world in the event of an emergency or provide volunteer communications for community events.
