.
Old Business: Bryan reported that there was still no progress on the repeater move and that we are waiting on approval from Motorola to use the new SO tower. He will continue pressing for action.
Dave reported that the Water Safari went okay and Field Day was very good. He and Hurshel attended and noted that the Mission Valley location was ideal. They used the VARC trailer and made contacts on 40 and 20 meters. Gary gave lessons on programming with Chirp and they were visited by an ARRL official.
Otto reported that the antenna needs paint and new tires. The odd size rims are a problem. ET was also in need of repairs due to water seeping in on the top. There was much discussion about both trailers including the lack of funds to repair them and limited number of members to tow them to other sites. Further action on the trailers was tabled.
Jimmy reported that the autotuner is working again and is in ET.
New Business: All participants paid dues of $20 for a total of $120 collected for the night.
Luci moved to adjourn, second by Otto. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 9:10 pm.
