Meeting Minutes

January 6, 2022

The meeting was held at the TrustTexas Bank Community Room.

Attending: Hurshel Pruitt - WB5MEX, Dave Dodge – NV5C, Bryan Haun – KG5AUZ, and Gilbert Gibbs – WA5YKK.

Meeting called to order at 7:30 pm by Hurshel. Previous 11-4-21 meeting minutes were read by Bryan Haun. Gil moved and Bryan seconded for their approval. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: Dave reported that there was no activity and our balance was $292.05. Bryan moved and Gil seconded to approve his report. Motion carried.

Public Relations: No report but Hurshel noted that Erin is helping on our website and we have had 1,800 hits. Jimmy continues posting interesting tidbits on the Facebook group.

Points of Interest: None

Old Business:

Bryan reported that Motorola has approved us having a repeater and installing an antenna on the old tower at the scenic overlook site. The county is working on drafting a Memorandum of Understanding to be signed before any work can be done.

New Business: Dave reported the license renewal for ET is on hold as it currently needs a lot of work. Hurshel noted Field Day is January 22 & 23. We will go along with the Victoria group. Dues for 2022 are now due. All present have paid.

Bryan moved to adjourn, second by Gil. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 8:25 pm.
