Meeting Minutes

March 2, 2023

The meeting was held at TrustTexas Bank Community Room in Yorktown.

Attending: Hurshel Pruitt - WB5MEX, Jimmy Podsim – KD5QHH, Luci Podsim – KD5RIF, Dave Dodge – NV5C, and Harvey Babb – WB5MCT. Harvey had Brad Howard, N5LZY as a guest.

Meeting called to order at 7:31 pm by Hurshel. Previous 2-2-23 meeting minutes were read by Hurshel. Luci moved and Jimmy seconded for their approval. Motion carried.

Treasurer’s Report: Dave presented the report. Balance is $627.05 after $120 cash on hand to deposit.

Public Relations: Jimmy noted that Facebook is getting bogus subscribers posting spam and they have to be removed manually.

Points of Interest: Greater Houston Hamfest in Rosenberg on March 3 and 4.

Old Business:

Hurshel reported no progress on ’64 coordination reinstatement.

New Business: There was discussion on retiring ET as it is no longer in usable condition and there is a lack of members able to move it. Dave asked if we would consider selling it for $200. Luci moved to sell it for $200 or best offer and Harvey seconded. Motion carried

Harvey moved to adjourn, second by Luci. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 8:16 pm.
